“Swing”, the latest innovation from OMEF, is the result of collaboration with the German company Ritter Maschinen and allows the “Big Inch” tree shear to be applied to all oscillating coupling systems.

The accessory, through the activation of the hydraulic cylinder, allows the shear grab to be locked in position during the cutting phase, and then released to allow the felled tree to be laid down.

Thanks to an innovative wireless control system, the accessory can be operated without the need for any additional hydraulic system, using the same system that powers the shear grab.

Currently available for the Omef BI200 tree shear, “Swing” will be presented at the international Interforst trade fair, scheduled in Munich from July 17 to 20, 2022.
