CONE SPLITTER
for splitting logs up to 2 m in diameter
The SPV series cone splitter is designed for splitting logs of any length and type of wood up to 2 metres in diameter.
Available in 5 different models for different splitting diameters and can be installed on an excavator, skid steer loader, backhoe loader, telescopic handler or tractor.
Its structure, with a conical screw and 2 or 4 principle bit, allows it to penetrate even the most compact wood fibres to split them.
Once screwed into the wood – the bit – also allows the log to be moved quickly for subsequent loading, chipping and shredding operations.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
The hydraulic system requires a double-acting line and a drainage pipe.
In addition to the conical splitting bit, the machine can be equipped with:
– stump grinder for shredding logs emerging from the ground, or,
– drill bit for drilling holes in the ground.
Our ‘turnkey’ kit is available on all models, consisting of:
• Mounting bracket, specific to your operating vehicle;
• Dedicated hose kit.
This way you can quickly install your equipment and start working, without worrying about the rest.
